Today is World Environment Day! Sponsored by the United Nations, WED aims to promote positive environmental action across the world. This year's host country is Brazil, and the theme is a green economy - in their words "A green economy is described as one that results in improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities."
